Taking action to protect the forest

This year, we have partnered with Reforest'Action to plant one tree for every person recruited in a permanent position at AXA Partners to contribute to our global carbon neutrality and make a positive impact on the environment and communities around the world. Our new recruits can choose to plant a tree in projects based in either Columbia or Ivory Coast.

In Narińo, Columbia Reforest'Action has teamed with local NGO, Impuslo Verde to help restore 240 hectres of deforested areas in three years. The area includes the Alto-Andean forests and the Páramos mountains community and ecosystem which will all benefit from reforestation. 

In Agneby Tiassa, Ivory Coast Reforest'Action are working with Agro-Map, an industry leader in supporting cocoa farmers in the Séguié forest to restore the forests and re-establish their crops to enable the local communities to thrive.
